An enchanting XVII century house at the end of a long private cinder track in the tranquil surroundings of its own land, Coromandel House overlooks Romney Marsh with its wild beauty and working farmland. We are situated off a quiet country lane just outside the village of Iden, yet our local town Rye is only 5 minutes away, as is the 7 mile long sandy beach of Camber. The Cinque Port of historic Rye is picturesque, with its cobbled streets and ancient houses.

Your day starts with a real farmhouse breakfast with eggs collected daily from the hens in the garden, the sausages and bacon also come from our own free range pigs. Our land is organically managed creating a haven for wildlife.

From central Rye proceed north on the A268 and at Playden fork right onto the B2082, signposted to Tenterden and Iden. On entering the centre of Iden Village, with the Bell Public House on your left, turn right, signposted to Houghton Green, into Grove Lane, opposite The Bell in Iden. Down lane for one mile, then left immediately before oast house, down track. Go past Boonsfield Farm; Coromandel house,
